Use this daily pre-start checklist to inspect excavators and other plant before operation. Verify fluids and fuel levels, hydraulics and hoses, mirrors, windscreen, horn, wipers, steering and brakes. Check wheel nuts and tyres or tracks, attachments and bucket suitability, radiator level and lubrication points, and record any damage, leaks or defects. Include photos, notes, and operator signature, and consult dispatch or a manager for safety-critical faults.
