Use this SLG Site Audit Chapter 8 checklist to assess roadwork safety and compliance on active sites. Review risk assessments, courtesy boards, advance warning signs, traffic lights, approach and exit tapers, cone placement, vehicle parking, and public protection measures. Verify pedestrian access with one meter walkways, clear routes, sound path boards, barriers, and kerb ramps. Confirm sandbags on signs and barriers, site tidiness, and measures such as road plates for property access. Record issues in the corrective action log with responsible parties and evidence photos.
