Plan and document safe lifting operations with this comprehensive Lifting Plan template. Capture site and location details, brief the lift scope, and record load characteristics including weight, center of gravity, and lifting points. Assign key personnel such as the Appointed Person, Lifting Coordinator, and Slinging Signallers. List lifting equipment and accessories with make, model, and working load limits, and verify certificates of conformity or thorough inspection. Specify whether the lift is open or blind, the agreed signalling or communication method, and any temporary works requirements. Define demarcation of the lifting area, use of tag lines, assess ground conditions, and note any nearby hazards. Add a detailed operation description with drawings or photos if needed, then complete sign-off with timestamps.
