This building final inspection checklist supports code enforcement by guiding a comprehensive review of exterior and interior requirements before occupancy. It covers site grading, sidewalks and drives, balconies, porches, stairs, handrails, weatherproofing, and aluminum siding grounding. Interior checks include electrical clearance and certificates, GFCI and AFCI protection, plate covers, smoke and CO detectors on dedicated circuits, bedroom egress, plumbing connections and venting, safety glass, bathroom fan exhaust to exterior, doors and moldings, and heating system operation.
