This bricklaying QA checklist covers checks to brickwork above MSA through to the fire barrier level. Verify pistol brick overhang does not exceed 32 mm, first course aligns with the course below MSA, and open perpends follow architect details. Confirm brickwork is plumb, level, and tied back to the substrate with the first tie no higher than 300 mm. Inspect DPC installation per drawings, ensure correct fire barrier installation with required brackets, compression, and no gaps, and confirm cavity trays are formed and fixed with straps.
