Use this staged inspection checklist for partitions and MF ceilings across first and second fix. Verify layout setout, head and base tracks, studs, deflection, board types and thickness, fire and acoustic ratings, insulation, fixings and screw lengths. Check MF ceiling channels, hangers and bars, boarding, and finishing including tape and joint. Includes waste management checks and closure certification.

QA Partitions 1st Fix Checklist
This QA checklist helps site teams verify partitions 1st fix works against project and manufacturer specifications. It covers using the latest drawings, correct setting out, studs and tracks plumb and secured with mastic, spacing at 600 mm (400 mm in wet areas), deflection head and flat plate details, correct board types, fixing patterns, fire and acoustic mastic around penetrations, junction and opening formation, installation of noggins, and readiness for handover. This construction QA checklist supports inspection of party wall drylining for South Thamesmead Phase II.
