BD Visit Site Evaluation - Rooftop

Use this rooftop solar site evaluation template to plan and document a rooftop PV project before installation. Capture comprehensive electrical information including service voltage and amperage, meter and transformer details, breaker capacity and available space for a solar breaker, and generator backup. Document roof access, material and warranty (EPDM, TPO, PVC, SBS, ballasted), parapet height, and exterior conduit preferences. Request and review structural documents, note ceiling type and framing height, and identify if the building is pre-engineered. Upload clear photos of the electrical room, equipment, labels, conduits, roof, and all exterior walls. Indicate FTM or BTM configuration and mark electrical equipment location on an aerial image to support feasibility and cost planning.
