AIW Compound Inspection Checklist

This AIW Level 2 assurance checklist helps supervise and audit construction site compounds for safety, compliance, and readiness. It covers general controls such as site plans, safety notices, rules signage, pedestrian and vehicle segregation, lighting, fencing and security, overhead service risks, material and plant storage, PPE, quarantine areas, temporary works, and housekeeping. First aid provisions include trained first aiders, eyewash and kit checks. Fire and emergency controls include risk assessment, evacuation procedures, extinguishers, alarm systems, and flammable storage and refuelling controls. Welfare covers toilets, potable water, beverage and food preparation, COSHH information, seating, canteen hygiene, and drying rooms. Environmental checks include waste documentation, bunded tanks, spill kits, light direction, electrical certificates, contamination signs, and segregated waste storage.
