90-Day Mobile Plant Safety Inspection Checklist
by Ben Morgan, from the Community
This 90-day mobile plant safety inspection checklist helps teams assess the condition and compliance of equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers and elevating work platforms. Review critical items including engine oil, coolant and hydraulic oil levels, battery condition, belts, leaks, tyres and wheel nuts, steering and lights. Confirm the presence and legibility of compliance plates and that logbooks are in use. Inspect safety systems including motion sensors and reverse beepers, and check stabilizers, outriggers, tynes, lift chains and booms for damage or distortion. Capture photos, record plant ID and sides, note cabin condition and technician details.
