Mobile Plant Inspection Checklist for Vehicles and Plant
by Swansea Bay Asphalt, from the Community
Use this mobile plant inspection checklist to assess vehicle and mobile processing plant safety before and during operation. It guides walk-around inspections for hazards, fluid levels, leaks, guards, exhausts, wear parts, and spillage; checks fuel levels; inspects tyres and tracks, lights, alarms, cameras and mirrors; and verifies cab condition, seat belts, fire extinguisher, and instrumentation. Includes pre-shift checks, brake and steering tests, in-service monitoring for leaks and performance, and daily maintenance tasks such as greasing, draining air tanks, and refuelling, plus space to record litres issued and supervisor sign-off.
