Last 2023, the theme for World First Aid Day was “First Aid in the Digital World,” reflecting the transition done by most of the world into more digital operations. This was because it has become increasingly important that organizations and individuals are aware of how to utilize digital tools in the advancement of lifesaving activities. Included here is the promoting the use of first aid inspection apps to manage first aid records and initiatives, checklists for ensuring kits are properly stacked and used, and digital courses for more adaptive training sessions.
The theme for World First Aid Day 2024 will be “First Aid and Sports.” During this time, organizations are encouraged to highlight the role of first aid in ensuring productive and enjoyable sporting events for all, from athletes to spectators and other stakeholders.
