Warehousing Forklift Inspection Checklist
by Megan Duckworth, from the Community
This warehousing forklift inspection template helps teams complete daily and pre start checks to reduce incidents and maintain compliance. Inspect driver licensing, visual condition, tyres and rims, fluids and hydraulics, gas bottle security, visible damage, locking mechanisms, capacity name plate, horn, back up alarm, seat belt, and fire extinguisher. Confirm safe storage practices such as lowering forks when not in use and keeping chargers away from combustible materials. Verify servicing and maintenance records and capture notes on the last specialist service. Record issues, add photos, and assign corrective actions to keep forklifts safe and ready for use.
