Vehicle Inspection Checklist for Distribution
by Colin Porter, from the Community
This distribution vehicle inspection checklist helps ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and compliant before loading. Verify internal surfaces are clean and odor free, check for damage, exposed or broken glass, and any pest evidence. For chilled or frozen loads, record refrigeration status, setpoint temperatures, and actual vehicle temperature. Confirm security seal tag application and ID, and that the vehicle is locked and secured. Capture operator details, transport company, customer, and shipping number, then complete supervisor verification and sign off.
