Traffic Management Road Closure Checklist
by Jonathan McDonagh, from the Community
Use this traffic management checklist to plan and review full or partial road closures around worksites. Confirm the traffic management plan is implemented, signage is correct size and placed at prescribed distances, and any redundant signs are covered or removed. Check temporary road conditions, delineation and line marking, minimum road widths, and plant–pedestrian separation controls. Verify pedestrian crossings, night-work lighting and reflectivity, temporary speed limits, electronic signals, channel call-up signage, and operator competence.
