Pre and Post Trip Vehicle Inspection Checklist
by Jayme Woodman, from the Community
This pre and post trip inspection checklist helps drivers of mobile veterinary units and other fleet vehicles perform thorough walkarounds and cab checks. Verify engine bay fluids, belts, and hoses with a cold engine, then test headlights, indicators, hazards, tail and brake lights, clearance lamps, tires, wheels, mirrors, and exhaust. Record generator hours, confirm gauges and safety equipment inside the cab, and complete post trip tasks including refueling, waste management, and shutdown.
