Motorcycle Monthly Inspection Checklist
by Hans Sebastien Sambo, from the Community
Use this Motorcycle Monthly Inspection checklist to record key vehicle and rider safety checks. Capture documentation (registration and maintenance records) and assess critical components including frame, horn, mirrors, windshield, headlights, tail and brake lights, turn signals, reflectors, handlebars, front and rear brakes, wheels, tires and tread wear, passenger seating, fenders, control cables, exhaust, stands, and any fluid leaks. Verify rider PPE such as a DOT- or Snell-approved full-face helmet, eye protection, high-visibility garments, gloves, footwear, and full-length clothing. Note issues, add remarks, and track follow-up actions to keep motorcycles roadworthy and compliant.
