This monthly checklist helps crews and facility teams inspect crew boats, wharves and docks for safety and compliance. Verify flares, water‑tight flashlights, sound signaling device, heaving line or life ring and rope, anchor and line, bailer, 10BC fire extinguisher, navigation lights, operator certification, log book and life jackets. Confirm emergency response procedures, radio function and motor service. Check non-slip surfaces, remove tripping hazards, ensure spill kit readiness, and assess bow rail and ramp condition.
