Use this flatbed inspection checklist to assess vehicle and equipment condition before operations. Verify lights and clearance, horn, wipers, reflectors, tires, exhaust, oil level and leaks. Confirm tie down equipment, wheel chocks, cones, stop and slow signs, and road work signs are present. Check voltmeter, batteries, fiberglass stick and other tools as required. Ensure documentation including insurance card, registration, accident investigation form, and lock out and tag out signs are on board. Capture truck number, location, inspector name, and signatures to support compliance and safety.
