This forklift pre-use inspection checklist helps operators verify equipment safety before start-up. It covers visual checks of body condition, mast, forks, chains, capacity plate and attachments; tyre wear and wheel nuts; fuel levels and lines; lights, mirrors, horn and reversing alarm; foot and parking brakes; steering; seat, seatbelt and cab; and control tower and tilt functions. Operators are prompted to answer Yes, No, or OFI, record any faults, and stop use to notify a supervisor if the vehicle appears unsafe. Use it to standardize pre-start checks and reduce risk across yards, workshops and dispatch areas.
