Flight Low-Level Routes Checklist
by 167th Wing Safety Office, from the Community
This AFI 91-204 aligned checklist helps flight crews plan and verify low-level routes to improve mission safety. It covers avoidance of obstructions and high traffic areas, use of updated charts, adequate information for mission completion, compliance with run-in and escape restrictions, emphasis on clearing during pre-brief and throughout the mission, and briefing of mountain procedures. For night operations, it prompts recalculation of minimum safe altitudes when timing changes occur. The template also includes signature and routing fields for supervisors, safety office, commanders, and wing leadership to document notifications and approvals.
