This bi-annual Driver Observation SOJ checklist helps trainers and supervisors assess driver safety and service standards. Review vehicle procedures such as pre-start checks, logbook accuracy, licence carriage, RT unit operation, cleaning, and fueling policies. Evaluate customer experience, including presentation, greeting, journey explanation, and seatbelt reminders. Observe core driving behaviours—speed compliance, indicator use, following distance, lane discipline, gear and clutch use, braking, cornering, and adherence to road rules—then record feedback and sign-off.
