This daily forklift pre-start checklist helps operators verify that the truck is safe before use. Inspect fluid levels (engine, coolant, hydraulic, transmission, brake), air filter, hoses and fittings, grease points, tires and rims, steps and handrails, warning lights, horn, indicators, reverse alarm, flashing light, seat and seat belt, cab cleanliness, and check for leaks. Confirm brakes, park brake, steering, and controls work correctly and that the UHF is on the correct channel. Record faults to improve safety, reliability, and compliance.
