NI Railway Safety Snapshot Checklist

Use this NI Railway Safety Snapshot to document observations across railway worksites for Translink. Capture areas attended such as compounds and on off tracking zones, list specific worksites, and note key observations. Verify health and safety documentation including site manager briefs, task briefings, temporary works, and RRV lift plans. Check plant compliance through operator inspections, LOLER certifications, and competency cards. Confirm rule book roles and paperwork including PICOP, ES, TSC, Dispatch and Catch, and PEM forms. Record interventions and any incidents, identify remaining improvement opportunities, assign actions with owners and time frames, and obtain site management sign off confirming the line is safe for train passage.
