Use this Airboat and Trailer Inspection checklist to complete pre-launch and post-trip checks for both vessel and trailer. Verify belts and hoses, drain plug, engine oil, fire extinguisher, required safety gear (flag, whistle, paddle, life vests, PPE), and check for fuel or oil leaks. Inspect propeller, hull and metalwork, registration, steering and throttle linkages, starter and flywheel, and lights and wiring. For the trailer, review jack stand, coupler latch and pin, winch and strap, safety chains and hooks, tires, wheel nuts and bearings, fenders and mounts, and tag/registration.
