Use this supervisor-led HSE gemba checklist to assess safety and housekeeping across warehouse main aisles and goods-in areas each Friday. Inspect lighting, floor and pallet conditions, pallet stacking limits, wrap and banding, broken pallets, and battery storage. Confirm emergency exits and cleaning stations are clear and stocked. Observe powered equipment operators for pre-start checks, speed, signaling, seat belt use, and line-of-sight. Review manual handling posture, PPE such as hi-vis and safety shoes, knife safety, and hand protection. Discuss evacuation, incident reporting, and recognitions.
