Use this checklist to perform a complete daily inspection of a 149 Brush fire truck. Verify engine fluids, belts, batteries, and hoses; test lights, siren, turn signals, wipers, and back-up alarms; review driver controls and fuel level; confirm radio, maps, Haz-Mat book, anemometer, flashlights, tow straps, and PPE in the cab; run the pump for 5 minutes and check gas and oil; inspect rubber hoses, log chain, and water tank level. Ensure readiness for emergency response.
