Downloads: 10+

This telecom tower safety inspection checklist helps crews verify critical pre-work and on-site controls. It covers JSA completeness and hazard mitigation, crew login with tower owner and carrier, daily PFAS and capstan inspections, and a written rescue plan for elevated work. Confirm crew certifications for climbing, rigging, RF awareness, first aid and CPR, crane and aerial lift operations. Check PPE including hard hats, high-visibility clothing, safety glasses, gloves, and task-specific gear. Verify first aid kits and fire extinguishers are accessible and inspected. Ensure a tower rescue kit is staged and complete, RF monitoring is in place, GFCI is used, cords are managed, and rigging follows the plan and industry standards. Review environmental controls: safety banners, shade or warmth, water, traffic cones or barricades, trench and hole protection, and housekeeping.
