This rope inspection checklist supports on site lift maintenance. Capture address, location, Lift ID, rope setup and construction, number of ropes, length and diameter. Check anchorages for security, tensions, breaks, splinters, general condition, rouging, and lubrication. Inspect sheaves and diverters for wear and rope seating. Record sheave diameter, width, grooves, fixing bolts, keyways, and markings. Attach photographic evidence and add comments.
