by Michael Knight, from the Community
Use this point of work risk assessment to plan and control aftercare and customer connection tasks for fibre network works. The checklist helps field teams identify hazards such as working at height on poles, MEWP operations, manual handling, chamber entry, hazardous gases, streetworks, traffic management, and public safety. It guides controls including PPE, gas monitoring, ladder checks, LV awareness, splicing hygiene, sub duct installation, blowing operations, and weather related precautions. Includes sections for site setup, vulnerable people, drilling and loft access, rescue planning, and team sign off to confirm safe methods are understood.
