This FTTN routine maintenance checklist guides technicians through inspecting and servicing fiber-to-the-node cabinets. Tasks include validating site address and access, checking for obstructions and physical damage, assessing plinth condition, door alignment and locks, pest control and door seals, cleaning internal compartments, and verifying air vents and heat exchange. Inspect fan units, circuit breakers, rectifiers, ISAM, and filters; confirm capped fiber ports and blanking panels. Review battery terminals, cables, cell voltages, overall voltage and current. Check incoming ducts, earthing, AC mains, generator changeover, and plugs or sockets. Conclude by securing the cabinet, pausing CRQ with the NOC, returning keys, and completing sign-off with photos and notes.
