FFTH Site Risk Assessment Checklist v1.0
by Nelio Goncalves, from the Community
This FFTH site risk assessment template helps teams plan and document safe fiber installation works on site. It covers internal works, working at heights, ladders, scaffolding, loft access, and unsafe ground conditions. Environment and exposure checks include asbestos, dust, needles, vermin and hazardous waste, public interaction, work near roads, noise, chemicals, first aid, fire procedures, and non‑ionising radiation near transmitters. Work activity risks address manual handling, cutting, waste removal, drilling (including debris control at height), equipment use, and permits for high‑risk tasks. The template also prompts for welfare and hospital location details and requires engineer sign off to confirm completion and safety.
