This VWAP (Visit With A Purpose) checklist guides Regional Facilities Managers through a comprehensive retail store review. Assess external areas such as landscaping, signage, lighting, parking surfaces, drainage, and fascia condition. Inside, evaluate auto doors, mats, lighting levels, flooring hazards, chillers and freezers, temperature comfort, escape routes, pest evidence, and cleaning standards, including bakery and hot food areas. Check back-of-house cleanliness, canteens, plant room safety, and service yards. Review compliance folders, escalation processes, and open work orders, confirm seasonal readiness, capture colleague feedback, and complete sign-off.
