This set-up coordinator store walk checklist helps confirm a new or remodeled retail store is ready to open. Inspect entrance and exit vestibules, cash room, offices, training and lounge areas, pharmacy, and back-of-house spaces to ensure equipment and millwork are installed correctly, clean, and in working order. Review employee and public restrooms for dispensers and signage. Check sales floor readiness including gondola shelving, shadow displays, column boxes, spill stations, check stands, and fire extinguishers with proper signage. Verify department setup across meat, seafood, produce, deli, bakery, and floral. Confirm front-of-store elements like ATM placement and ADA standards, and assess loading dock and signage throughout.
