PCA Retail Site Compliance Inspection Checklist
by Lee-Anne Ford, from the Community
Use this quarterly PCA retail site compliance inspection checklist to assess fuel and convenience locations against brand, safety, and operational standards. Capture site details and trading hours, review staff training and toolbox talks, and verify weekly performance snapshots. Inspect external presentation, branding and signage, forecourt equipment, garden and building condition, shop entry, toilets, and car wash areas. Check pricing accuracy, promotions, merchandising, stock weight, and product rotation. Evaluate customer service behaviors, planogram compliance, maintenance logging, and loss prevention controls including refunds, voids, and price overrides. Review food offer quality, hygiene, and equipment. Record findings and assign actions for closure.
