Use this audit checklist to manage retail grocery waste handling and compliance. Items include locking and securing waste cages, signage differentiation for food and non-food waste, mobile waste processing station standards, frozen waste cage controls, designated waste areas for produce, dairy, meat, counters, bakery and GM, daily clearance in line with the waste cycle, repair not record procedures, cleaner waste tracking via PDA, donation submissions, reclassification practices, and prohibitions on unrecorded waste after 11 pm.
