DM Store Visit Checklist

This DM Store Visit checklist supports district managers in auditing convenience and retail stores. Assess culture of controls, cash management, and inventory levels across categories including liquor, tobacco, grocery, non food, beer, deli, fountain, coffee, meat, and bakery. Inspect exterior standards such as signage, landscaping, pumps, parking lot, and car wash. Review interior operations including front registers, customer service, food programs, merchandising, cooler and freezer stock, fountain and coffee areas, and restrooms. Verify backroom organization, stock levels, and manager office processes like invoices, daily paperwork, price changes, scheduling, and credit tracking. Capture photos, ratings, comments, and create action plans with follow up tasks and acknowledgements.
