This monthly checklist helps FENZ volunteer stations verify operational readiness across the station and fleet. Review safety signage and evacuation plans, confirm Building WOF checks, and ensure hazard lists are visible. Validate personnel competencies for critical and core skills, and confirm driver licensing. Check the station emergency plan and six-monthly evacuation drills. Inspect fleet records including drivers’ checks, inventory, road user charges, and certificates of fitness. Verify equipment testing, weekly BA set checks, and gas detector bump tests. Complete quarterly PPE inspections. Ensure communications and turnout systems function, fire reports are up to date, and BA air purity and compressor certification are current.
