Service Engineers Site Inspection Checklist
by Shaun Tribbeck, from the Community
This service engineers site inspection checklist helps field technicians and supervisors assess safety and compliance on customer sites and plant rooms. It covers PPE, working at height (ladders, towers, MEWPs, harness use), plant and access conditions, electrical safety and lockout, hot works and permits, gas works competency and documentation, lifting equipment and barriers, COSHH and hazardous substance controls, housekeeping and storage (including cylinders), welfare facilities, reporting of incidents and near misses, asbestos awareness, and vehicle readiness. Use it to standardize inspections, capture evidence, and ensure hazards are identified and controlled before and during maintenance tasks.
