This gas operative quality control checklist supports facilities teams in verifying safe, compliant gas work across client sites. It covers meter installation and main equipotential bonding, correct pipe sizing and support, sleeving and protection, and full tightness testing. Appliance inspection includes make/model/location, installation to manufacturer instructions, electrical isolation and testing, fuse ratings, control and safety device operation, burner pressure/gas rate, combustion analysis, and flame quality. Flues are checked for standards, flow, spillage, and ventilation adequacy. Housekeeping includes component cleaning, customer instruction and handover, control reset, and paperwork completion. Safety practices, PPE availability/condition, and calibration and condition of test equipment are verified. Space is provided to record defects, corrective actions, and obtain operative signatures.
