Shopping Centre Cleaning Inspection Checklist
by Marcus Coombe, from the Community
This shopping centre cleaning inspection checklist helps facility and retail centre managers assess cleanliness and safety across key areas. Review cleaners rooms for tidiness, chemical storage, MSDS availability, and test-and-tag status. Inspect mall floors, walls, glass, signage, bins, plants, furniture, vents, doors, and auto-entrances. Evaluate amenities including female and male toilets and parents rooms for surfaces, fixtures, mirrors, basins, sanitary bins, odour, and supplies. Check entries, mats, and cobwebs, and audit car parks, paths, stairs, garden beds, external signage, columns, walls, and machines. Use this template to standardize cleaning quality, verify compliance, and maintain a hygienic, welcoming environment.
