Intruder Alarm Acceptance and Handover Checklist
by Dannie Speakman, from the Community
This intruder alarm acceptance and handover checklist helps installers and facilities teams verify that an intruder and hold-up alarm system has been installed and configured correctly. It covers workmanship and standards compliance, device labeling, detector operation, battery checks, power load measurements, tamper and warning device tests, and ATS signal verification to an alarm receiving center. It also guides remote support setup, user training, documentation completion, and site handover. Capture customer acknowledgement, sign-offs, and any changes to the system design proposal to form the final as-fitted record.
