Fire Equipment and Escape Routes Inspection Checklist
by Ryan Black, from the Community
This weekly inspection checklist helps verify fire safety readiness across buildings and floors. It covers portable extinguisher presence, tamper indicators, and in-date testing; fire plan currency and safety signage visibility; unobstructed escape routes and removal of combustible build-up; and evidence of monthly fire alarm tests. It also prompts checks on COSHH storage and labeling, availability of an emergency pick up pack, and selection and headcount of fire coordinators and fire marshals.
