This 6-monthly fire door inspection checklist for Block C helps facilities and property teams verify critical safety elements. Record door IDs and assess each door for surface and edge damage, a valid certification label, correctly fitted hinges with all screws, and properly functioning handles. Confirm master or spare key availability and validate lock or mag-lock operation. Measure perimeter gaps to ensure they are no greater than 4 mm. Test that the door closes securely using only the momentum of the closer. Check intumescent strips, smoke seals, and any threshold drop seals for presence and condition. Capture observations, inspector details, and sign-off to maintain compliance and building safety.
