Use this evaporative cooling inspection checklist to assess the condition and cleanliness of HVAC equipment and document maintenance actions. Capture unit details and access notes, confirm safe working platforms and lighting, and check drift eliminators, distribution, packing or coils, and internal and external surfaces for damage, scaling, corrosion, biofilm, and dirt or debris. Review sump condition, air inlet louvers, inspection hatches, and strainers. Record pre clean and post clean results, add photos, and note other comments or recommendations.
