Conduct a weekly Emergency Evacuation Bag check to keep your facility ready. Verify high visibility vests and coats, LED torches and spare AA batteries, foil blankets, slippers, barrier tape, megaphone, notepad and pens, and building zone plans. Confirm the SIMP manual and the Emergency Services Serious Incident Pack are up to date, and review first aid kit stock and expiry dates on the first Monday of the month. Check evac chairs in designated areas, record findings, and notify the manager of any issues.
