Use this WHC-aligned monitoring protocol to assess landscaped habitats across seasons. Record plant species, survival counts, bloom status and color, height at marked monitoring points, and presence of pollinators such as bees, butterflies, birds, and flies. Capture notes and media, and note any leaf damage to help guide maintenance and conservation actions. Recommended monitoring is at least once per year, with optimal observations three times per season to cover varied bloom periods and improve biodiversity outcomes.
