Use this daily pre-start inspection template for medium vehicles operating on industrial and mining sites. Verify critical safety items before mobilising, including engine oil, brake and transmission fluids, AdBlue, brakes and air leaks, lights, glass and mirrors, tyre condition and pressure, wheel nut indicators, access and walkways, UHF/VHF radios, diagnostic faults, PTO operation, fuel transfer equipment, hydraulic oil, diesel bulk tank integrity, and fuel levels. Record any defects and comments, note vehicle ID and odometer, and sign off. If towing, complete the trailer pre-start inspection as required.
