Maintenance Schedule: Daily Checks (10 Hours)
by Stephen Pearce, from the Community
This maintenance schedule guides 10-hour daily checks for material processing equipment such as trommels, belt feeders, conveyors, magnets, fans, and scalping screens. Tasks include inspecting guards and emergency stops, checking belt tension and alignment, removing obstructions, assessing drive and guide wheel contact, verifying screen mesh wear and fasteners, setting screen parameters, and confirming interlocks and isolators before work. The checklist ends with inspector sign-off including name, signature, date, and hours. Use it to standardize routine equipment upkeep and maintain safe, reliable operations.
