This mining light vehicle pre-start checklist helps operators confirm vehicle readiness before a shift. It covers Category A no-go faults requiring immediate maintenance, Category B faults to be brought to the workshop, and Category C faults to be rectified by the end user. Checks include operator fitness, fluid levels, leaks, belts, battery, brakes, lights and indicators, tyres and wheel nuts, mirrors, horn, reverse alarm, beacon, two-way radio, windscreen and wipers, exterior damage, flag pole height, window washer, licenses and permits, fuel level, fire extinguisher, wheel chocks, first aid kit, safety triangles, vehicle ID, and cleanliness.
