Grosvenor Motor Installation Inspection
by Bruce R. Johnston, from the Community
This motor installation inspection checklist supports electrical and mechanical verification for mining operations at the Grosvenor site. It covers equipment ratings (IP66), control configurations (DOL or VSD), thermistors and heaters, cable access and looping practices by motor size, phase reversal at the terminal box, equipotential earthing to the main earth bar, and labeling on non-detachable parts. The checklist includes ITP and punchlist stages, compliance checks, post-delivery and final handover, and records of inspectors and attendees. Applicable to motors at 3.3 kV, 690 V, and 415 V across conveyors, ROM areas, stockpiles, and other site locations.
